Artisan Crafts / Folding & Papercraft / Origami

Origami Phoenix Designed by Satoshi Kamiya. I folded this from a 70cm x 70cm sqaure of tracing paper, no cutting or glueing. This is my second attempt at folding Satoshi Kamiya's Phoenix and I'm very pleased with the result. I plan to fold it a third time with some nice origami paper soon and focus more on the details, especially the wings!

The detail is stunning! Did you add a sheet over the piece? It gives the wings a cool felty look. Those legs and tail look kinda difficult. x'D

Thank you and nope, this was folded from one big square. The legs and tail weren't to bad, the wings were the most difficult which aren't perfect but I'm pleased.
